Eric Jordan
Eric and his wife Kristen along with their daughter Hannah have been attending Grace since 2012. Eric has served in youth ministry in the past. Eric currently serves in children’s ministry, and occasionally fills the pulpit. This is Eric’s first term as an elder and previously served 1 term as a deacon. Eric has been in public service for over 20 years. His favorite verses are Joshua 24:15 and Isaiah 6:8.
Lead Pastor- Tim Chinn
Tim has attended Grace Evangelical Church since Nov. 2019 and became the Lead Pastor in March 2020. Tim and his wife Rene’ have been married since 1982 and in local church ministry since that time. They have two married adult children and four grandchildren. Tim graduated from Baptist Bible College with a Bachelor’s degree in pastoral ministries and from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master’s degree in pastoral ministries.
Tim enjoys almost every kind of outdoor sport and working with his hands. Besides studying the Bible, he also enjoys reading about leadership, discipleship, and church revitalization. He is passionate about shepherding people, watching them grow spiritually, and helping others in need.

Micah Bohyer
Micah has attended Grace Church since 1989. Micah is married to Kari and together they have 4 children. His favorite thing about Grace are the people he comes into contact with weekly. Micah's favorite Bible Verse is"He has told you, O Man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?"-Micah 6:8
Brian Goodmiller
Brian and Eileen moved to the area in 2020. "They began attending Grace in 2021. Brian and Eileen have been married since 1965 and have two married adult children and five grandchildren. Both Eileen and Brian have been involved in a wide range of local church ministries since 1974. Brian has served as a Deacon, Church Campus Manager, Youth Camp Program Director, small group leader, Refugee Sponsorship Team member, Care Center volunteer, outreach visitation, and a large Campus Security Chief.
Brian is serving his first term as an elder at Grace.
His favorite verse is Psalm 86:11
"Teach me our way, O Lord, and I will walk in your truth."

Kurt Stuart
Kurt has been attending GEC for 37 years alongside his wife Ruth. He began attending Grace as a non-believer and through the love and teaching he received he came to salvation in Christ shortly after. He has 3 daughters and 5 grandchildren. Kurt is an active member in the church serving on various committees. His favorite Bible verse is “Thou will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Thee”
- Isaiah 26:3
Ken Krup
Ken has been attending Grace Church since he was in grade school and became a member when he was 20 (in college at ECC). Following college studies, he served as church treasurer (2 terms) and continued as elder for many of the next 35 years. He loves GEC as it has been his church home for most of his life. He is also a missionary with Awana (is supported by GEC) and serves churches in central and northern IL.
He has a daughter Karissa and they enjoy seeing people come to know Christ and then serve Him with vibrance. One of his favorite verses is 1 Thes. 5:16-18, “Always rejoice, always pray, always give thanks …”.
