The FIRE is a community that seeks to know who Jesus is and follow Him together.  We have fun, make good friends, but most importantly seek what it means to be imitators of Jesus Christ that make an impact for His glory in a broken world that desperately needs a savior.

It is our desire that students will let God’s Word, through the work of the Holy Spirit, transform them into workers that are eager to serve the Savior of the world through their attitudes, thoughts, behaviors, and actions.  Our hope for our students is that the desire to know God and live for Him does not stop when they graduate high school, rather that they will continue to walk with the Lord the rest of their lives.

Why “The FIRE”?

Hebrews 12:28-29 says “Therefore let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe, for our God is a consuming fire.”  The fire in this verse describes God’s presence, specifically His holiness and how we should respond to it.  In the FIRE, we want to respond to God and His holiness in the midst of broken world that greatly needs Him.
